A Massive Crossover (part 2)
“What do you mean there was only one?”
Sandwich man came awake slowly. He did not open his eyes or show any indication that he was awake. His back was against something cold and hard and his arms were bound to something that he couldn’t identify as of yet, but he’ll worry about that in a minute, right now he strained to hear what the voice was saying.
“I don’t care if they split up, or if they all arrived in different places! Find them, bring them here. Do not fail me.”
The voices faded, and he heard footsteps leading away from him.
After several minutes, he dared t

‘-next up on Paradise Anomaly news at 10. A string of the most bizarre series of events had occurred over the past 24 hours. A well-known and dangerous street gang brought down last night by an unknown assailant. The few gang members who were interviewed in the hospital claimed that they made an attempt to jump two young teens. Until one of them pulled a gun. Strangely enough, it wasn’t bullets that the doctors extracted from the injured men, but large iron nails. Doctors and many others are baffled as to how the attacker managed to utilize such seemingly common items and used them in such a violent attack. While most peopl

Plateface groaned in pain, his head was pounding and his body was sore in various places. He tried to move, but his body would not respond. The only thing he would do at the moment was think. What was going on? Why was he so sore and groggy? Where was he?
Then he remembered something. A Fight, pain, that man in the sunglasses …wait a moment.
Now he recalled everything. His eyes opened with the revelation and found himself looking around inside a very dark room. His first course of action was to get up and get out as fast as possible. However, he found that hard to do as his body re

Somewhere, a cellphone went off. A man in a darkened room answered.
“Yes?”
“Hey Dathan- I mean boss," A whiny and hesitant voice started, "I meant to call you sooner but things have gotten… a bit out of hand down here.”
“Just tell me what you found out,” his boss told him calmly.
“Well, it happened like this; we got the Other Worlders in the city like you said would happen, however, uh, most of them ended up far from the pickup location.”
At this Dathan turned and looked at several of the screens, some that were broadcasting the news on different channels. “I’m very awar

“How do I even see out of this stupid mask?”
“Try lifting it higher on your nose.”
The trio was walking as casual as they could; the disguises they had taken were proving very effective. The only downside was that now they had to stick to large groups now as they looked very suspicious looking walking alone.
They crossed several streets and walked down many city blocks before the police activity died down, signaling that they had left the area where authorities still searched for them.
They had rested a bit at what might have been some kind of gas station but had to leave as the customers started giving them odd l

“Ugh! Do these people ever give up!?” “These guys are actually being PAID to do this!” “Stop yelling already and run!” Sandwich man didn’t say anything, he suddenly turned and ducked into a vacant garage storage. “In here! We can hide.” He hissed in a low tone. The group instantly followed, and Sandwich man pulled the door shut as quietly as possible. Everyone stood still, holding their breaths. They heard the sounds of footsteps coming closer. Everyone tensed. Plateface held his taser. Sandwich man pulled out one of his many tools. Kenna, Dahylio and Pizza Guy gripped one of their custom made weapons. Rob clutched his fists, silently sliding into a defensive stance. Then without warning, the footstep paused at the garage door. A painfully long second later a shout sounded nearby, then gunshots. The mercenaries were fighting someone else. Everyone silently glanced at each other, each wondering what was going on, and who else could be out there to fight the
A tall figure raced down the gloomily lit sidewalk, one leap and a sharp turn and he was in a small alley in less than a second from his last hiding spot.
Panting lightly, he listened for anyone who might have seen him. Thankfully, there was very little activity at 2 am all the streets were as silent as a grave. In spite the agony shooting through his body, he continued on, leaping out once again and making for a new hideout. Over one shoulder, he carried an old duffel bag. The only things in it were a few empty water bottles. He intended to leave with it full on the way back home.
